The Martin County West girls basketball team crushed Madelia 70-24 on the road Thursday. 

Emily Anderson led the Mavericks with 24 points and had five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Maddie Carlson posted 12 points and a team-high four steals plus six rebounds and a pair of assists. Courtney Anderson added another dozen along with a trio of steals and rebounds.

Ida Rohman collected nine points and a pair of steals. Avery Sanders had six points plus a pair of steals and assists. Addy Wohlhuter and Hannah Rosenberg scored three points. Emily Schettler and Emma Goldart had two points. Schettler also led MCW with nine rebounds and four assists. 

The 11-3 Mavericks have won three straight with Minnesota Valley Lutheran up next on Saturday.
