The JCC volleyball team started off the season on Saturday with a 3 to 0 win over the Blue Earth Area Buccaneers. This was part of the Big South Conference Showcase. Game scores were 25 to 18, 25 to 18 and 25 to 16. From the service line Elese Paplow was 25 for 25 with four aces. Paplow also had 17 set assists on the day. Bailey Finck went 13 of 13 with two aces and she collected 15 set assists. Emma Haren led the attack for the Huskies with 16 kills. Kylee Wenzel had six kills and Sawyer Flatgard had 5 kills against the Bucs. The Huskies open their home schedule with a match against HLO-Fulda on Tuesday.
