The # 1 team in Class 3A visited Jackson County Central last night and spoiled any hopes of an upset but not before JCC took the first set by playing nearly errorless volleyball. Head Coach Deidre Wierson gives her thoughts on the match.

The Huskies came out and convincingly won the first set 25 to 15 but Marshall made adjustments after the first set and took the next 3 25 to 15 25 to 12 and 25 to 10. We’ll have more in the next sports report on this match. Sadie Voss led the Huskies with 13 kills while Georgianna Wenzel had 8 and Emma Haren had 7.  Haren was perfect behind the service line going 15 of 15. The Huskies play Sioux Falls Christian on Thursday.
