Jackson County Central volleyball brought a sweeping victory home from Spirit Lake, Iowa on Thursday night. JCC took both of the first two sets 25-20 and then won the third 26-24 to close out the Indians. Elese Paplow went 15 of 17 serving with 23 set assists and 5 kills. Emma Haren had 16 kills and her 7 digs tied Lauren Johnson for the team lead. Huskies head coach Diedre Wierson says they still have room to improve. 

“I would say the last two sets were a little shaky. We came out the gate pretty hot with everything but just had a little bit of unforced errors I would say on each set. We need to focus in on what we can control on our side of the net and our contact to the ball better to execute our offense,” Wierson says. 

The Huskies are 3-1 and will host Marshall on Tuesday.
