Mon 10-31-2022

The Jackson County Central Huskies volleyball team's season came to an end last night with a disappointing loss to Montevideo 3 games to 2 in Section 3 class AA volleyball. The Huskies started off winning set one 25 to 15 but then in sets 2 and 3 the Huskies struggled to keep that momentum while Montevideo won set two 25 to 17 and then the 3rd set 25 to 19. The Huskies didn’t throw in the towel as they came back and won the 4th set 25 to 13. That brought us to the 5th and deciding set where the first team to 15 would be the winner. It was back and forth the entire time with Montevideo coming out on top 19 to 17. Huskies head coach Deidre Wierson says they gave it everything they had.
The Huskies finish the season with an 18 and 12 record.
