JACKSON - A total of 18 teams from three states are scheduled to compete in the 35th annual Pizza Ranch Invitational wrestling tournament Saturday.

Wrestling starts at 9:30 a.m. with the varsity tournament in the Main Gym and B squad in the Auxiliary Gym at Jackson County Central High School.

There are 17 wrestlers who are state-ranked in Minnesota and Iowa so there will likely be several weight classes with multiple state-ranked wrestlers. South Dakota has not released ratings this season. Wrestler will not necessarily compete at the weight class they're rated.

JCC has the most state-ranked wrestlers with three.

Adrian, Minneota, Sioux City East, Waseca, Windom/Mountain Lake each have two ranked wrestlers. Having one apiece are Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial, St. James Area, United South Central and Wabasha-Kellogg.

Windom/Mountain Lake won the team title last year, with the Cobras' Alex Borsgaard named the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.
