JCC Huskies Football Season Comes to an End at US Bank Stadium
Mon 11-21-2022

The Jackson County Central Huskies football team had their season come to an end at U.S Bank stadium on Friday as they couldn’t find an answer to Barnesville’s power T offense. The final score was 41 to 12. Huskies Head Coach Tom Schuller says it wasn't from a lack of effort.
"The standard rule is if you have a hope on artificial surface to hold a team to 21 points that's usually sensational. These guys, I think even with our best, I wasn't sure that was possible. We figured we would probably have to score about 35 and we just weren't quite able to get that done. We needed to slow them down more, we weren't able to do it and it certainly wasn't form lack of effort or anything like that it's just that Barnesville, they were really good."
The Huskies finish their season with a record of 12 and 1. Roman Voss had 10 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown. He also completed 11 passes for 105 yards. Gabriel Wolff had 81 yards on the ground. Travis Rogotzke had 3 receptions for 35 yards. Bryson Powers caught two passes for 32 yards and Ben Dahlin caught four for 28 yards. Dahlin scored the other touchdown on an 89-yard kickoff return. JCC had 288 yards of total offense while Barnesville had 463. We'll have another story once we receive season end stat totals.
