JCC Girls 2nd, Boys 4th at Wolverine Indoor

Jackson County Central opened the track and field season at the Wolverine Indoor meet on Saturday at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The JCC girls finished second as a team. 

Rylie Cother took home wins in all four of her events: the 55-meter low hurdles, 55-meter high hurdles, high jump and long jump. The 4×2 team of Daysia Tomlin, Hannah Carson, Adyson VanWesten and Natalia Botello-Ramos finished first. The 4×8 team of Isabella Moonen, Zadi Farmer, Naiya Ayers and Cora Pauling did the same. 

The JCC boys took home fourth place as Evan Paplow picked up their lone win in the 1,600-meter run.

The Huskies are scheduled to visit Luverne for their first outdoor meet on Tuesday, April 2nd.
