JCC Boys Win, Girls 2nd at Windom Golf Course

The Jackson County Central golf teams visited the Windom Country Club on Tuesday. 

Tavin Miller led the JCC boys to the team win by shooting 43 to finish runner-up as an individual. Keegan Koster shot 45 to take fifth place, Kyler Thier shot 46 to finish sixth, and Jessy Gentry shot 47 for seventh place. Dylan Hilpipre shot 52 to finish 11th and Blayze Hillmer shot 71 to take 14th place. 

The JCC boys collected a team score of 181 ahead of Windom Area at 185 and Tracy-Milroy-Balaton was incomplete. 

Lily Brinkman was the top JCC girls performer with a score of 52 to finish fourth place. Rachel Mohr scored 55 to take fifth. Kendal Krumwiede and Ramsey Johnson tied for seventh place with a score of 58. Payton Coquyt shot 62 to finish 10th and Taylor Schultz shot 81 to take 12th place. 

The JCC girls had a team score of 223 behind Windom Area at 209 and TMB was incomplete. 

The Huskies return to action against Murray County Central in Jackson on Thursday.
