JCC Boys and Girls Track Teams Both Place 2nd

Both the boys and girls JCC track teams took 2nd place at BSC meet yesterday in the small school division. The girls scored 134 points. Rylie Cother placed 2nd in the 100-meter hurdles and broke the school record for a second time this season. Her time was 16.54 which was 6 seconds less than the last time she broke the record with a 16.60. Cother also placed 2nd in the long jump and high jump. That earned her all-conference honors as the top 3 finishers in each individual event earn All conference. Cora Pauling placed 1st in the 3200. Elsa Landherr finished second in the 800 and triple jump and Peyton Hanson brought home a second placed finish in the 300-meter hurdles and pole vault. Daysia Tomlin also earned all-conference honors by earning third place in the 100-meter dash.
The boys' teams scored 103 points for second place. Caleb Vancura won the shot and the discus events. Ben Dahlin won the 100-meter dash and Quin Landherr won the 400. The 4x4 relay team finished 3rd. That team consists of Braeden Tufvesson, Wyatt Wenzel, Isaac Hesebeck and Landherr.
