JCC boys 7th in section meet
Sat 10-17-2020

LUVERNE - Jackson County Central seventh in the boys team standings at the Section 3A boys cross country meet Thursday.
In a normal year, the Huskies would have had two state qualifiers as Andrew Boyum placed 15th in a time of 18:08 and Evan Paplow was 16th in 18:09.
Usually, the top two teams and top eight inidividuals not on those teams advance to the state meet, but no state meet is being held this year.
Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd won the boys team title with 24 points. Mountain Lake Area/Red Rock Central/Comfrey was second with 129. JCC had 174 points.
Jackson County Central's girls did not have a complete team. Luverne edged Murray County Central/Fulda 40-49 for the team title.
