Congratulations to Janet Haren and Emma Haren. Janet is the assistant volleyball coach at JCC and earned the MN Volleyball Coaches Association Outstanding Assistant Coach Award. Head coaches nominate their assistants for the award. Emma earned a spot on the All-State team for Class AA. Emma plans on attending Morningside college next year to play volleyball. RTR is the #1 ranked team in Class A and will start play today at 5pm against Pine River Backus. In Class AA #1 SW Christian will play Wadena Deer Creek and Redwood Valey, who is making their first appearance at the state tournament since the 70's, will play #2 ranked Pequot Lakes in Class AA. Marshall is again the #1 seed in AAA and will play De La Salle in their first round. The state tourney is again being played at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul
