Jackson Motorplex Welcomes Outlaws, Schedule Upgrades

Jackson Motorplex welcomes the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series for the second time this season on Saturday.
The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars presented by FENDT is the final 2025 visit to the state of Minnesota for ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt.’
Carson Macedo topped more than 40 other competitors to capture the World of Outlaws win during June. It marked his fourth straight year with a victory and his fifth career triumph as the winningest Outlaw driver at Jackson Motorplex. Kerry Madsen ran second with World of Outlaws points leader David Gravel rounding out the podium that night.
The main gates open at 4 p.m. with the pre-race party featuring the Jeremy DeWall Band on Saturday. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
The Jackson Racing Hall of Fame will host their Class of 2025 induction ceremony at 2 p.m. in the blue building at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.
A pair of schedule updates happened within the past few days.
The Tweeter Memorial presented by Joel Pingeon Trucking will now be part of the opening night of the 47th annual Bank Midwest Jackson Nationals presented by Wyffels Hybrids on September 19.
The special event rained out on the original date in May and on the make-up date in July. Jackson Motorplex officials worked to find a way to incorporate the event into the remainder of the season and were able to include it into the season-ending Jackson Nationals.
The two-day spectacle showcases the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series, the Buffalo Wild Wings Northern Outlaw Sprint Association, and the Cressman Sanitation Midwest Sprint Touring Series 410 Sprint Cars. The finale on Saturday, September 20, is paying $12,000 to win.
The Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Cars division will compete both nights as well with a $2,500-to-win finale.
The traditional fall classic is back with the make-up date for the Jeff Heser and Denny Frodermann Memorial set for Saturday, September 27.
The inaugural event rained out on Tuesday night during the Jackson County Fair.
The original USRA classes of Hobby Stocks, B-Modifieds, Stock Cars, and Modifieds will return to the track. The 305 Sprint Cars are running as well. but will probably be unsanctioned, according to the announcement from race promoter Jon McCorkell.
