Huskies Welcome Rival Eagles to Wacker Field

The Jackson County Central baseball team is hosting Windom Area at Wacker Field on Thursday.
The 4-10 Huskies lost in Luverne on Tuesday but beat Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial on Monday. JCC is 3-9 in Big South Conference play and 1-9 in the section entering Thursday.
The Eagles ended Opening Day early with a run-rule victory in five innings.
Huskies head coach Mike Wierson says a lot has changed since then.
Windom is 8-7 overall after losing three of their past four games including Tuesday’s loss to Pipestone Area. The Eagles are 5-7 in the conference and 3-7 in section play.
The Huskies are looking to snap an eight-game losing streak in the rivalry which started after sweeping the 2021 season.
