Huskies head coach Tom Schuller says JCC performed well enough but they can play better than they did on Friday night.

 FULL INTERVIEW

The Huskies scored in less than a minute after a 30-yard rushing touchdown by Roman Voss.

Ben Gallagher made an interception near midfield and Voss finished that Huskies drive with a 1-yard plunge.

Redwood Valley put a good drive together and then Kade Freking-Leu recovered a fumbled snap to start another JCC drive. Clay Malchow scored from four yards out to finish that drive.

The Cardinals converted a fake punt on 4th down from their own 30-yard line during their next drive.

Malchow knocked away a trick play pass near the end zone to deny another 4th down attempt.

JCC led 20-0 at halftime.

Gage Johnson made an interception for another timely turnover early in the third quarter. Voss punched in a four-yard rushing TD to finish that drive.

Redwood Valley snapped a punt out of the end zone for a safety.

Johnson later ran in from seven yards out for another touchdown.

The Cardinals finally scored late in the third quarter and then Ben Dahlin took the ensuing kickoff back for an 85-yard touchdown to help complete the 46-7 final score.

The 5-0 Huskies return home against Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Friday, October 4 with a "Salute to Service" event that night.
