The Jackson County Central golf teams split with Murray County Central at home on Thursday. 

Tavin Miller and Keegan Koster both shot 45 to top the boys leaderboard. Kyler Thier shot 48 to take fourth, Jessy Gentry got fifth with 49, Dylan Hilpipre shot 52 for seventh, and Emerson Hendrickson was 10th with 58 for the Huskies. 

The JCC boys scored 187 ahead of the MCC score of 206. 

Lily Brinkman led the JCC girls with a runner-up finish after shooting 50. Rachel Mohr shot 52 for third place and Ramsey Johnson shot 59 for seventh. Taylor Schultz was 10th with 81 and Izzy Moonen was 11th with 99. 

The MCC girls collected 203 to beat the JCC score of 242. 

The JCC boys are back in action on Friday at the Worthington Boys Trojan Invite at Great Life Golf and Fitness.  

Both teams host Martin County West at Jackson Golf Club next Thursday.
