Huskies Renewing Rivalry in "The Nest"
Fri 1-10-2025
The Jackson County Central basketball teams visit Windom for a varsity doubleheader on Friday night.
The JCC girls won their third straight game on Tuesday over Redwood Valley and improved to 6-6 overall this season.
Huskies head coach Rafe York says the Eagles are a challenging matchup:
The Windom girls have won eight straight at 12-1 overall with the only loss coming at Marshall, the top-ranked team in Class AAA. JCC had won five of six against the Eagles before losing in last year’s section tournament.
The JCC boys are 9-1 overall after bouncing back from their first loss to get a big win at Redwood Valley on Tuesday.
Huskies head coach Alex Hein says no lead is safe against the Eagles:
The Windom boys are 7-5 overall this season. JCC has taken the last six games in the series.
Our coverage begins at 5:45 with the girls tip-off at 6:00 and the boys to follow on KKOJ Radio and Explore Live Video.
