Huskies rally for win over Coyotes

JACKSON – After falling behind twice, Jackson County Central rallied past Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda 9-7 in nonconference baseball Monday at Wacker Field.
It was the first win of the season for the Huskies, who are now 1-2. The Coyotes are 1-1.
HLOF scored three runs in the top of the first, with JCC scoring four in the second to take a 4-3 lead.
The Coyotes tied it in the third and then added two in the top of the fourth to lead 6-4. JCC plated two in the bottom of the inning to tie the game at 6-6.
The Huskies scored three in the bottom of the sixth, with the Coyotes coming back with one in the top of the seventh.
Alex Bretzman was on base five times for Jackson County Central as he had a two-run double and walked four times.
Dominic Bargfrede also walked four times.
Zach Neal had two hits including an RBI double and Parker Jorgensen had two hits and one RBI.
JCC is scheduled to play at St. James Area Thursday.
