Final score was 38 to 23. Things started out great in the first half as they took a 15 to 6 lead into halftime.

The Trojans would come out and score 32 points in the second half while holding JCC to just 8. The Huskies committed 3 fumbles in the 3rd quarter which the Trojans took advantage of.

This all happened after sophomore quarterback Roman Voss had to be taken off the field on a stretcher. As first reported by Dan Condon of Jackson County Pilot Sports, Rod Voss said Roman suffered a severe concussion but was able to move all of his extremities and was undergoing more tests just to make sure he was okay.

Seth Stai scored 22 of the 23 points for JCC as he had 3 rushing touchdowns. Stai ended the day with 74 yards on 17 carries. Roman Voss had 14 carries for 59 yards before leaving the game with a concussion. Ben Dahlin had 51 yards on 10 catches while Bryson Powers had 18 yards on 4 receptions. Ian Titterington led the defense with 12 tackels, Stai had 9 while Malchow had 7. Dahlin and Tavion Diggs both had 5 while Noah Thompson and Thomas Leiopold both had 3.

The Huskies lose 12 seniors as they say goodbye to Brenan Runge, Sam Brinkman, Seth Stai, UB, Noah Thompson, Myles Sathoff, Max Hoogland, Jack Sadusky, Leo Feichtinger, Braeden Erickson, Brayden Winter and Bryson Powers.

We’ll have more on this game next week in sports.
