The Jackson County Central Huskies wrestling started out the day by handing West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon Evansville a 48 to 17 loss in the quarterfinal round of the Class A State wrestling tournament. Owen Gruchow started out with a technical fall of Kyler Thier and that would be the only time the Knights would lead. The Huskies got falls from Kayden Eller, Isaac Rodriguez, Ben Dahlin, Thomas Freking, Skyler Andrews and Caleb Vancura They will now face Howard Lake Waverly/Winsted who defeated Royalton/Upsala 37 to 25. 

In the semi finals the Huskies dominated Howard Lake Waverly Winsted 54 to 18 to move on to the Championship dual of Class A. They will wrestle Caledonia Houston who defeated Belgrade Brooten Elrosa in the other semi final match. Eller, Rodriguez, Dahlin, Nolan Ambrose, Seth Stai, Vancura and Cam Scholten all got falls for the Huskies. Championship is at 7pm tonight and coverage will be on Xtreme Country 105.7 FM
