Huskies claim win over Eagles

JACKSON - The Jackson County Central football team evened its record at 1-1 Friday at Swearingen Field with a 32-8 victory over Windom.
JCC scored on its first play from scrimmage as Damian Meyer-Andre scored on a 55-yard run. Levi Lindley ran in the two-point conversion.
The Huskies scored 16 second-quarter points, all by Levi Lindley as he scored TDs on plays of five and one yards and also ran in both conversions,
The lead became 32-0 in the third quarter as Coltan Bents scored on an eight-yard run, with Lucas Vesey running in the conversion.
The Eagles scored with 2:51 left as Brady Espenson scored on a 53-yard run.
Jackson County Central is scheduled to play at Luverne next Friday. The Cardinals lost to Blue Earth Area 41-10.
