Huskies Bounce Back For Big Road Win

The fourth-ranked Jackson County Central boys basketball team beat Redwood Valley 63-55 on the road.
The Huskies bounced back from their first loss of the season and leaned on their defense to grind out the victory. JCC led 36-22 at halftime and kept the Cardinals from completing a comeback down the stretch.
Grant Freking led JCC with 21 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. Weston Rowe added 18 points and co-led the Huskies with eight boards.
Blaise Rowe had seven points plus a pair of rebounds and assists. Carson Pohlman had six points and a pair of assists. Thomas Sether had five points and assists plus four rebounds. Carter Buhl had two points and two rebounds. Aiven Farmer scored one point and collected four rebounds and three steals.
The Huskies improved to 9-1 overall this season.
