Huskies Banged Up But "Back On Track"
Tue 1-7-2025
The Jackson County Central girls basketball team is hosting Redwood Valley on Tuesday night.
The 5-6 Huskies recently snapped a six-game losing streak that followed a 3-0 start and JCC is now coming off back-to-back wins.
Huskies head coach Rafe York says they have taken advantage of better matchups to get back on track.
FULL INTERVIEW:
JCC expects to once again be without regular starter and all-conference player Kylee Wenzel tonight.
The Cardinals are 10-3 overall and seeking their fourth straight win. They started the season 7-0 but then lost three straight before their latest trio of victories.
The JCC girls have beaten the Cardinals six straight times dating back to the 2021 section tournament and 2018 was the last time RV beat the Huskies in Jackson.
Coverage begins at 7:00 with tip-off at 7:15 on KKOJ.
