The Jackson County Central softball team is hosting Windom Area for a rivalry doubleheader on Tuesday.
The Huskies are 1-0 after holding on to beat Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian on Friday.
JCC head coach Morgan Christopher says keeping their poise helped them reject the comeback attempt.

Bailey Finck batted in three runs, Kinley VanDeVere went 3-for-3 with a pair of runs scored, and Mady Wachal tossed three shutout innings to help lead JCC to victory. The Minnesota Star Tribune ranked the Huskies #15 in the Class AA preseason poll.

Anja Nielson tossed a four-inning no-hitter in the first game of the doubleheader and finished the day with 16 total strikeouts during a pair of wins.
