Hungry Huskies Begin State Against Defending AA Champ
Wed 3-20-2024
Jackson County Central invades the Target Center on Wednesday night as the boys' basketball team begins the Class AA State Tournament.
It’s an all-Huskies quarterfinal showdown against the defending state champion Albany. JCC head coach Alex Hein says their 28-2 opponent that has won 22 straight games is not the most spectacular squad but is rock-solid fundamentally. JCC is 21-7 overall and Coach Hein says they want to keep executing like they have to get seven straight wins and the section championship.
