"Hot and Cold" Huskies Volleyball Visiting Windom

Tue 9-19-2023

Jackson County Central volleyball’s 2023 season debut on KKOJ happens Tuesday night as the Huskies visit Windom Area.

The Eagles are 11-3 with a hard-fought tournament win over JCC at the Carolyn Hummel Invitational this past weekend. The Huskies won their first two matches this weekend before dropping the last two. JCC head coach Diedre Wierson says the team is always seeking more consistency.

"I think this weekend we played kind hot and cold. We saw some great moments within our play and some real low moments with passing, being able to execute our offense, missed a lot of serves, and just had some unforced errors. Defensively we just really need to be strong in the front and back and we need to make sure we're getting our first contact balls inbounds. We have some solid volleyball players that will continue to keep getting better and getting better with controlling our side of the net to take advantage of wins," Wierson says.

Coverage begins at 7:00 with first serve at 7:15 on KKOJ.
