The Valley Conference announced their all-conference volleyball players. Congrats to the following MCW Mavericks. Emily Anderson was named to the first team, Maddie Carlson was named to the second team and Courtney Anderson and Avery Sanders both were named to the honorable mention team.  Emily Anderson also earned All-Area player of the year on the Sentinel All Area team. The Fairmont sentinel names an all-area team every season and this is the second consecutive season, Emily has earned the honor of All Area Player of the Year. Anderson ended her junior season with 241 kills, 27 service aces, 83 set assists, 190 digs and seven blocks. The Mavericks finished the season with a record of 11-17.
