Jackson County Central freshman Kayden Eller led the Huskies varsity effort with a second place finish on Friday at the Rumble on the Red tournament in Fargo, North Dakota. 

Eller won his first four matches at 121 pounds with two pins and two technical falls before losing in the finals. 

Kyler Thier took sixth place at 127 pounds as he reached the semifinals with a pin and two decisions before finishing with a 3-3 tournament record.

Isaac Rodriguez went 4-3 to finish eighth at 133 pounds with wins by pin in his first three matches. 

Dallas Gossen went 1-2 at 133 pounds. Ryan Haley at 189 pounds and Michael Hansen at 285 pounds were both 0-2 in their bracket. 

The Huskies finished 21st out of 59 varsity teams.

Cael Entriken led the JCC junior varsity effort with a second place finish at 160 pounds after three pins and two decisions advanced him to the finals.  

Maddox Boogerd went 5-2 to finish fourth place at 88 pounds with three pins and two decisions. Payten Sorbel finished fifth place at 98 pounds after four pins and three tech falls to collect a 7-2 mark. Mathias Liepold and Ryan Fricke each went 4-2 in the tournament.

Izzy Moonen went 4-2 at 124 pounds for the JCC girls and nearly placed. Aubrey Carnesi went 2-2 at 124 pounds and Makayla Sands was 1-2 at 136 pounds. 

JCC is visiting Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a dual on Tuesday and then hosting Luverne, New Ulm, and Redwood Valley for a varsity quad on Thursday.
