The Jackson County Central football team has a season-high eight players receiving All-District recognition in the South Central Silver awards. 

A trio of seniors and juniors are on the All District team. Huskies wide receiver and cornerback Ben Dahlin, running back and safety Clay Malchow, and offensive and defensive lineman Thomas Liepold are on the team.

Huskies junior quarterback and safety Roman Voss, offensive and defensive tackle Weston Rowe, and defensive tackle and tight end Kade Freking-Leu made the team as well. 

Huskies senior linebacker and guard Ian Titterington received an honorable mention. Fellow senior linebacker and running back Tavion Diggs joined him in that category. 

Jackson County Central went 5-0 against opponents from the Silver district this season and went on to win their first state championship since 2001.
