Eagles Take Advantage of Huskie Errors

The Jackson County Central Baseball team was on the road Tuesday night to visit Big South Conference foe Windom Area. The hometown Eagles benefitted from two costly JCC errors and came away with the 6-2 win.

Windom scored two runs in the 3rd inning and four runs in the 4th. The Huskies scored a run in the 2nd and 4th innings. Ben Spaeth drove in both runs for the Huskies with a double and a single. Cameron Scholten also had 2 doubles while Payton Handevidt had the other JCC hit. Windom Area's Braydon Kreofsky pitched a complete game giving up five hits, two runs and two walks striking out eight.

JCC is now 5-7 (3-4 Big South Conference - Small Schools) and they will return home for a double header with Luverne Thursday.
