Beckendorf wins again at Fairmont

FAIRMONT - Brandon Beckendorf of Danube continued his domination of the IMCA modified class at Fairmont Raceway this season as won Saturday night's feature on Doug Cellan Memorial and Hall of Fame Night. It's his fifth win in six features at the track this season.

Kelly Shryock (Fertile) was second and Chris Palsrok (Sibley) third.

Jeff Larson (Lakefield) won the IMCA stock car featre for the fourth time this season, with Justin Luinenburg (Reading) second and Luke Sathoff (Jackson) third.

Matthew Looft (Swea City) was the IMCA sport mods winner for the third time this season, with Zach Davis (Lonsdale) second and Jared Boumeester (Waseca) third.

The other two classes each saw a first-time winner.

Keeran Sampson (Worthington) was the IMCA hobby stocks winner, followed by Malik Sampson (Worthington) and Logan Kelly (Fairmont); while Austin Friedrich (St. James) won the IMCA sport compact feature, followed by Calvin Hinz (Fairmont) and Terry Blowers (Waseca). Bubba Brown (Jackson) was fifth.

Knoxville

Skylar Prochaska (Lakefield) finished fourth in the B feature and was 23rd in the A feature in the 410 class at Knoxville Raceway Saturday.

Aaron Reutzel won the 410 feature. Carson McCarl won the 360 class.

The All Star Circuit of Champions is at Knoxville next Saturday before running at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D. Sunday.

Midwest Power Series

Jack Dover (Springfield, Neb.) claimed his 31st career Midwest Sprint Touring Series feature and fourth Midwest Power Series win Saturday at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, S.D.

James Broty (Lonsdale) finished second and Justin Jacobsma (Hull) was third.

Derrik Lusk (Jackson) was 10th and Mark Toews (Spirit Lake) 18th.

The MSTS will compete at Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Neb. Saturday and then take a break until Aug. 28.

Micah Slendy (Sioux Falls) won the 360 feature at I-90, with Elliot Amdahl (Flandreau) second. Ryan Voss (Okoboji) was fifth.
