Barret Scholl of Martin County West announced his commitment to play football at Bethel University late Monday night. 

Scholl was a senior leader on the offensive and defensive lines for the Mavericks this past season. He was also named to the Academic All-District team this season. 

Bethel University is a private Baptist Christian university in Arden Hills, Minnesota. The Royals football program competes at the NCAA Division III level.
