BLUE EARTH – Martin County West lost the first set, but came back to win the next three and down Blue Earth Area in a nonconference volleyball match Monday.

The Mavericks are now 3-4, while the Buccaneers are 0-8.

Sami Meyer had eight kills for MCW and Gabby Lange six. Bella Bicknase had 21 set assists.

Jenna Clow posted 11 digs and five ace serves. Logan Kosbab had six ace serves and Shaylynn Anderson four.

Martin County West plays a Valley Conference match at Cleveland Tuesday. The Clippers are 4-5 overall, 1-0 in conference play.
