Snowmobile safety course to be offered in Jackson
A Snowmobile safety class will again be offered in Jackson. Jackson County Conservation Officer Mike Grulke has the details…
“In the State of Minnesota, residents that are born after December 31 of 1976, are required to successfully complete a snowmobile safety course in order to operate in the state. And so in Jackson, on Saturday, January 19, there will be a class offered, and it will be the online base class that is being offered, so residents that are 11 year old and older can take this course and those that want to come to that day, down at the library at 9 o’clock in Jackson should have already completed the online portion and they would bring a certificate that they will gain by completing that online portion to the practical part, which is at the library and then at Benes Park in Jackson.”
That was Jackson County Conservation Officer, Mike Gruhlke, speaking with KKOJ News. For more information, or to take the online portion of the class, go to the MN DNR Website at dnr.state.mn.us.
