JCC High School to offer Worlds Fair

Fri 1-10-2020

Area residents will have the opportunity to travel the world without leaving Jackson today.  The JCC High School will be holding their annual Worlds Fair.  Instructor Dustin Pauch explains…Worlds Fair Cut 1

“This is the third year we’ve had this at Jackson County Central High School.  It’s a project where each 9th grade student selects a country at the beginning of the semester and they complete a Capstone project covering the culture, the people, the religion, the population, basically anything that there is to know about the country they cover.  They write letters to the Embassies in Washington D.C., often times they’ll get mail back from the Ambassador of their country so it’s quite a fun experience there.  The students are then required to make an authentic food dish and present that to the community, it is open to the public this Friday, from 9am to 11:30 so we encourage people to come out and check out the World’s Fair.”

That’s the Worlds Fair, in the JCC High School Gynmasium this morning.
