Henderson 9th in long jump

ST. PAUL - Aleigha Henderson of JCC placed ninth in the Class A girls long jump at the state track and field meet Friday at Hamline University with a leap of 16 feet, 5 inches.
Also Friday, she had a time of 13.05 seconds in the prelims of the 100 meters. She did not make the finals.
Henderson competes in the triple jump Satruday.
Matt Stubbe of JCC had a time of 11.61 seconds in the Class A boys 100-meter prelims. He did not make advance to the finals.
Also competing for JCC Saturday will be Kendell Kapplinger in the girls shot put and Jordan Hassing in the boys long jump.
Martin County West's Makena Larson fouled on each of her attempts in the Class A girls discus Friday. She'll compete in the shot put Saturday.
