Estherville Residents May See Increases In Water & Sewer Rates

(Estherville)– Water and sewer rates may soon be on their way up in Estherville. The city council Monday evening approved first readings of proposed ordinances that, if granted final approval, would allow the increases to move forward.
For water rates, a 10 percent increase would take affect this coming December 31st, along with an inflationary adjustment amounting to an additional five percent a year over the next five years.
