(Westside Township)- A crash yesterday in Nobles County involving one vehicle sent a Jackson resident to the hospital, says the Minnesota State Patrol. The crash was reported around 12:19 pm yesterday when a 2018 Buick Encore, driven by Carol Jean Cookinham, age 74 of Jackson, was traveling westbound on I-90 when the vehicle blew out a tire and lost control.

The Buick then struck the median barrier, which caused some damage to the vehicle and non-life threatening injuries for Cookinham. She was taken by ground ambulance to Sanford Worthington.

The Adrian Police Department, Adrian Fire Department and Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
