Worthington Speedway Welcomes Weekend of Madness
Fri 6-27-2025

Worthington Speedway is gearing up for a doubleheader weekend.
Six of the seven regular classes will be in action on Saturday with no Mini Mods during the Prelude to the Madness.
Luke Sathoff of Jackson, MN, took over the Stock Car points championship lead after last week’s event.
Connor Vande Weerd of Alton, IA, is leading the Sport Mods, and Todd Stinehart of Waseca, MN, is leading the Modifieds after feature event wins last week.
Scott Jones of Sioux Falls, SD, is leading the Worthington Sportsmen standings. Brenden Mofle of Brandon, SD, is leading the Sport Compacts. Austin Jahnz of Lewisville, MN, is leading the Hobby Stocks.
The opening night of the Midwest Madness Tour is happening on Sunday.
The five IMCA classes will be in action without the Sportsmen and Mini Mods. It’s the first of five racing nights in three different states for the seventh annual tour, with big money paid to event winners and points champions.
The grandstands open at 5:30 with hot laps at 6:30 and racing to follow on both nights.
Combat Rush is also going to be part of the weekend action. The brand new Sioux Falls-based organization combines the thrill of dirt track racing with an adrenaline-fueled healing journey for disabled veterans.
