State Cross Country Meet Results

State Cross Country meet was held on Saturday @ St. Olaf College in Northfield
JCC Huskies runner Andrew Boyum finished 42nd in the state cross country meet on Saturday. Boyum ran the course at St. Olaf College in Northfield in a time of 17 minutes, 25.97 seconds. Jakob McCleary of Perham won the race in 16:09.64.
Olivia Anderson Anderson finished in 88th place with a time of 21 minutes, 28.65 seconds. Section 3A, which is the Section JCC competes in, had the top three finishers in the girls race and four of the top six runners. Murray County Central’s Amanda Overgaauw won the race in 18:09, followed by a pair of Luverne runners. Tenley Nelson placed second and Jenna DeBates was third. Ashley Overgaauw of MCC finished in 6th place.
Martin County West also had two runners representing the Mavericks at the Class 2A State Cross Country Meet that was also at St. Olaf College.
Jameson Forsberg crossed the finish line in 17:29 which was good for 46th place in the boys Class A State Cross Country meet while Katie Hartke finished in 24th place with a time of 20:02.2 seconds in the girls meet.
The Farimont Cardinals had two runners representing the girls team in the State Cross Country Meet. Senior Laura Thompson and freshman Stacy Hanson placed 6th and 7th in the State class AA cross country meet.
