The MCW baseball team lost to the Madelia Blackhawks last night 11 to 4. The Mavericks didn’t cross the plate until the 5th inning when they scored 2 runs. They added two more in the 6th but that would be all they would get. Lucas Larson was 2 for 3 at the plate driving in a run while Zach Anderson also had two hits. Raef Omvig had two RBIs for the Mavericks who now drop to 6-5 on the season. They play Blue Earth Area at home on Thursday, and we will have coverage on Xtreme Country starting at 4:20 with the pre-game and 4:30 with the first pitch.
