The Martin County West girls basketball team picked up a big win in Sleepy Eye on Monday. 

The Mavericks led 26-25 at halftime and outlasted the Indians 49-46 for the tight road win. 

Maddie Carlson led MCW with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds. Emily Schettler joined her in double figures with 12 points. 

Courtney Anderson collected nine points, four assists, and four steals. Ivy Olson scored five points. Addy Wohlhuter and Bailey Larson each added three points. 

The 7-5 Mavericks host state-ranked Fairmont on Thursday night.
