The Martin County West girls basketball team kept Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey winless on the road Monday.

The Martin County West Mavericks girls basketball team traveled to Comfrey last night for a non conference match up. against MLA/Comfrey. The Mavericks held the Wolverines to just 19 points and moved to 10-3 overall with a 49 to 19 victory. Avery Sanders led the Mavericks with 14 points including 4 three pointers. Maddie Carlson tossed in 10 while Addy Wohlhuter came in off the bench and hit three 3's to end the night with 9 points. Ida Rohman had 8 on the evening. The Wolverines were led by Julia Brinkman who had 11 points.

The Mavericks will travel to Madelia on Thursday.
