Katie Lange is a national champion! Lange is a former Martin County West graduate who now wrestles for the Augsburg women’s team. Lange won the 143-pound title at the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships on Friday. Lange is only a sophomore and was ranked #3 in the nation. She took on top ranked Ashlyn Ortega in the championship. Trailing 6 to 4 Lange managed to score four points as the last seconds ticked off the clock.  Lange finishes the season with a 51 and 7 record with 16 pins and 23 tech falls.
