Jackson County Central football visits Worthington on Friday. The Huskies overcame a slow start to rout Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial 42-13 in week one. The Trojans lost a 25-20 opener at Luverne. Huskies head coach Tom Schuller says JCC is still banged up but hungry for more action. 

“These kids have put a lot of time in and they really take a lot of pride in what they do. They see what they did well. They want to build on that. They see what they didn’t do so well and they want to get better at that. So it’s a great group of kids and they’re just anxious to go out and show that we’ve improved from last week,” Schuller says.
