The Jackson County Central baseball team took care of Blue Earth Area at home on Tuesday. 

The Huskies took down the Buccaneers 10-0 in six innings. 

JCC scored a pair of runs in the first inning, three more in the second, one more in the third, another in the fifth, and three runs in the sixth to clinch the run-rule victory. 

Jace Jorgenson collected three hits. He and Ben Gallagher each batted a pair of runs in and Gage Johnson plated one. All three of them scored twice as well. Carson Kolander, Haiden Warmka, Thomas Liepold, and Kash Gilbert scored the other runs. 

Johnson pitched five shutout innings in his win while only allowing two hits, striking out eight Buccaneers, and walking three. Carson Doescher finished off the game and allowed just one hit in relief. 

The 1-1 Huskies are scheduled to host Maple River on Friday.
