Huskies Ranked Fifth in First Guillotine Poll

The Jackson County Central wrestling team is ranked fifth by the Guillotine in the first Class A poll of the 2025-26 season.
Staples-Motley, Chatfield, Holdingford, and Kenyon-Wanamingo are in the top four team spots.
A trio of JCC wrestlers got ranked in the top 10 individually. Sophomore Kyler Thier is #3 at 139 pounds, senior Isaac Rodriguez is #6 at 133 pounds, and freshman Payten Sorbel is #7 at 107 pounds.
JCC finished sixth at the State Tournament as a team, Thier finished fifth place at 127 pounds, and Rodriguez qualified at 121 pounds last year.
The Huskies open the season with a triangular against Luverne and Redwood Valley in Luverne on Thursday, December 4.
