Huskies Drop Match to Windom 3 games to 1

The Jackson County Central Huskies dropped a match to Windom last night. The Huskies took the first set 25 to 23 and then Windom battled back and won sets 2, 3 and 4 25 to 23. Head coach Deidre Wierson says they had a lot of unforced errors which Windom took advantage of. 9-21-22 Wierson cut 1 

Emma Haren had 24 kills for the Huskies and was 13 of 14 from the service line with one ace and she was busy defensively too as she had 17 digs. Peyton Hanson and Andria Benson both had 7 kills on the night for the Huskies. Benson was 15 of 15 serving with 1 ace and Hanson was 13 of 16 with two aces. Maci Farmer had 50 set assists on the night and 3 kills. She was good on 10 of 12 serves. Elese Paplow had another solid performance at the service line going 20 of 20 with one ace and she had 14 digs from her back row position. The Huskies host New Ulm on Thursday and then travel to Burnsville for a showcase this weekend where they will face some of the top seeded teams in the state in Class AA.
