The Jackson County Central girls basketball team crushed winless Albert Lea at home on Monday. 

The Huskies cruised to the 81-27 victory over the Tigers. 

Zadi Farmer led JCC with 20 points. Mady Wachal added 19 points. Kinley VanDeVere and Madelyn Rowe each scored 13 points to put four Huskies in double figures. 

Hilary Stai, Paige Benda, and Brielle Tufvesson each knocked down a three-pointer. Aliza Liepold scored three points as well. Payton Coquyt and Tressa Withers each had two points. 

The 4-9 Huskies have won three of the last five games. JCC is hosting Blue Earth Area for Meet The Huskies Night on Tuesday with players signing posters after the game. 

The 2-9 Buccaneers scored back-to-back wins after their 0-9 start. The varsity tip-off is expected at 7:15 p.m.
