Huskies and Eagles in Semifinal Clash of Champions
Thu 11-13-2025

The Jackson County Central football team meets Eden Valley-Watkins in a clash of the past two Class AA state champions on Friday morning.
Huskies head coach Tom Schuller says the community rallied to help the team get ready for the biggest challenge of the year.
The 11-0 Huskies are on the hunt for back-to-back state titles. The Section 3AA champions are making their fourth straight semifinal appearance. The JCC offense is led to 54 points per game by Mr. Football finalist Roman Voss who rushed for a school-record five touchdowns during their quarterfinal win over Caledonia. The defense continues to contain and smother opponents to the tune of 11 points per game.
Coach says the Huskies need to be balanced on offense and disciplined on defense.
The 9-2 Eagles are in the semifinal round for the third time in the past four years. They are averaging 32.5 points with a balanced offense that looks to take what the defense gives. The defense gives up 20.5 points per game and their physicality starts up front.
Coach says having experience in moments like this is vital.
Our coverage from US Bank Stadium begins at 8:30 with kickoff at 9:00 on KKOJ Radio.
